So two of the UK best underground secrets have teamed up together to make some killer music Koreless + Sampha = Short Stories! Sampa great vocalist/ producer who heavily featured on SBTRKT debut LP is massively underrated and 2013 might be the year he steps out of the shadows. Koreless maybe not have made the 2013 BBC sound list (but he should have) this will be the yeah that he blows up, We absolute love this guy have been following his music for so long since he first track ‘4D’ appeared on Giles Peterson’s Radio show years ago.
We watched Koreless in the summer live at Dimensions Festival and were blown away, even though a lot of his music was slow and not classic dance floor filers the crowd were mesmerised by his emotional music. This is released on Young Turks so not sure if they have signed his solo album but lets hope so. If it’s more Short Stories music or just Koreless/Sampha Solo projects we just more from two of are fav music makers.
