So rising star Nick Mulvey gets his first proper release with ‘Fever To The Form’ EP. One of the founding members of Portico Quartet he left to focus on his own material. After making some headway himself and with support from Gilles Peterson, he signed to Communion Records. In the last year Nick has toured with the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Willy Mason, Lianne La Havas and Laura Mvula. Rightfully so he is being tipped to break through in 2013 and the great single ‘Fever To The Form’ is being supported by Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.

We have known Nick for a long time it’s great to see how he has developed as a musician and songwriter. ‘Fever To The Form’ is a killer song and we are sure it will do well. The EP also features some reworking of songs you may have heard before ‘River Lea’ and ‘Juramidam’. His sound combines his latin and african influenced guitar playing with a straight forward vocal style, we think he is the 21st century answer to Paul Simon :-).

Nick is playing a series of intimate dates in London.
